Planet Ilunga hooks up with Boot Tenace tomorrow to celebrate the last summer Sunday of the boat by the canal of Brussels. The boot will take you for a musical trip (dj) from fifties Congolese rumba to acid Indian ragas and more in between. And Arthur Russell.

Planet Ilunga is a Brussels-based record label specializing in the Congolese popular music from the fifties and sixties. The third release, a compilation of the early songs of O.K. Jazz on the 78 rpm label Loningisa, came out some months ago. More to come next year.
